となりに荒神社、秋葉神社、山神神社の社殿が並んでいます。
一見、なんでもない小さな神社ですが、北前船の寄港地として江戸時代には殷賑を極めた丹後由良湊。
たくさんの船主からの奉納絵馬が残っていたそうです。
いまはここにはなく、丹後由良駅近くの北前船資料館にて写真を見学できます。

At first glance, it is a small shrine, but Tango-Yura Minato was a bustling port during the Edo period as a port of call for Kitamaebune ships.

It is not here now, but you can see the photos at the Kitamae Ship Museum near Tango-Yura Station.
