★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ｢玉鉾神社」は古来から玉鉾や周辺の人々からの厚い信仰心の中心です。
玉鉾という地名は万葉集の中に出てくる(道とか里)にかかる枕詞に由来と聴いたことがありますが、｢玉鉾神社」境内はそれを裏付けに十分なオーラと樹齢一千年あろうかと思われる神木が拝殿と本殿の右側横にどっしりと聳え立っています。
そうした一方で境内の樹木の小枝に数枚の御神くじが丁寧に織綴じられて結びつけられています。
外出をしていて近くに車をおいて帰宅したお母さんとお連れの子供さんとが、歩いて自宅までの途中でこの神社に立ち寄り、拝殿前の神鈴を鳴らして手を合わせています。
お二人のいつも通りの自然な営みと枝に結びつけられた御神くじの様子を拝見して｢玉鉾神社」がいかに地元の人たちの生活の一部にすっかり溶入っ ているかが垣間見えました。

Seeing the nature of the two people as usual and the state of the gods tied to the branches, I saw a glimpse of how Tamaboko Shrine is completely integrated into the lives of the locals .
