Nice place to walk. True, until 18 o'clock it is only open approximately .. Surprisingly finishing the work, two cyclists-guards disperse in different directions and together close the park. If you really want to, you can climb over the fence))) Although a piece of nature was left free, the bone ? kinuta wait for a bite ... next to a large park there is a paid 500 yen

Great for a walk. It would be nice if the course was a little longer, but considering the locality of Shinjuku, it would be unavoidable.

It is located on the north side of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, in the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden walking path (open for free).
It feels good to take a leisurely walk along a path full of nature.

Although it was made artificially, I think it is a valuable place where you can remember the former Tamagawa Aqueduct. I am deeply moved to think that the water from the Tama River was once divided into the entire Edo city and the Shibuya river. I remember that the wooden water pipes excavated around here were exhibited at the water treatment facility next to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. If you take a look at that as well, your interest will deepen.

Even if you don't enter Shinjuku Gyoen Garden, you can heal your heart just by walking along the walking path beside it (free of charge). In some places, there are signboards explaining the so-called Tamagawa Aqueduct that has been around since the Edo period, and I think that there is something that can be gained from the wisdom and hardships of people and the discovery of new castanopsis. Of course, the trees are beautiful and there are many daytime walkers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice half-kilometre walkway along Shinjuku-gyoen Park.
People see green, walk to relax, to home and work or jog, and also learn about the historical Tagawa-johsui which used to run through the area as a part of the 43km great aqueduct in Edo era.
Closed during the night time, though there is no hint of any danger around.
