★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 玉簾の滝のクチコミを書こうと思って付近を検索してもポイントマークが出てこない。このあたりだと見当をつけて、さらにストリートビューで確認して「地図にない場所・・・」で新規登録しようとしたら突然「すでに登録があります」ときたもんだ。なぜ普通のマップでいくら拡大しても出てこないほど冷遇されるのか不思議。
この滝は火山岩火成岩ばかりのこの辺りでは非常に珍しい「子ノ口層」という堆積岩の露頭の表面を流れている。滝をめでるだけでなく水を通して子ノ口層堆積岩も併せて観察して欲しい。遊歩道から見ることができないのは、なんとかならないものか。
もうひとつ私は主張したいのだが、この滝の名称は「たまだれのたき」ではなくて「たますだれのたき」が正しいということ。60年前のバスガイドさんはきちんと「たますだれのたき」として紹介していた。
横縞のある子ノ口層の上を転がるように流れる水を玉簾（南京たますだれのあれ）に喩えてつけられてた名称である。
仮に最初からたまだれの滝であったのなら「玉垂の滝」と表記されたはずである。ちなみにこのグーグルマップ検索でも「たますだれのたき」としないと奥入瀬のこの滝は出てこない。

I guessed that it was around here, and when I checked it in Street View and tried to register a new one with "A place not on the map ...", I suddenly said "I already have a registration". I wonder why it is treated so cold that it does not appear no matter how much it is enlarged on a normal map.
This waterfall flows on the surface of an outcrop of sedimentary rock called the "Nenokuchi Formation", which is very rare in this area of volcanic rocks and igneous rocks. I would like you to observe not only the waterfall but also the Nenokuchi sedimentary rocks through the water. What can't be seen from the promenade?
Another thing I would like to argue is that the name of this waterfall is not "Tamadare no Taki" but "Tamadare no Taki". The bus guide 60 years ago properly introduced it as "Autumn zephyrlily".
The name is given by comparing the water that rolls over the horizontal striped Nenokuchi layer to the zephyrlily (Autumn zephyrlily).
If it was a waterfall from the beginning, it would have been written as "Tamadare no Taki". By the way, even in this Google map search, this waterfall in Oirase will not come out unless you say "Autumn zephyrlily".
