★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鬼祭りが有名で源頼朝所縁の寺で本堂や十一面観音像を始めとした多くの文化財が拝めます。宝物殿ではご本尊である運慶作の十一面観音像や鬼祭りで使用される鬼の面等が見学できます。訪問時は住職さんが丁寧に解説をして頂き、特に十一面観音像と運慶仏のこと。源頼朝と滝山寺や愛知県との関わりについて詳しく教えていただきとても勉強になりました。岡崎を訪れたさいには訪れてほしい場所の一つです。
The demon festival is famous and you can worship many cultural assets such as the main hall and the eleven-faced Kannon statue at the temple related to Minamoto no Yoritomo. At the treasure hall, you can see the eleven-faced Kannon statue of Unkei's principal image and the demon mask used at the demon festival. At the time of the visit, the chief priest gave a detailed explanation, especially the eleven-faced Kannon statue and Unkei Buddha. I learned a lot about the relationship between Minamoto no Yoritomo and Takiyamaji Temple and Aichi Prefecture. This is one of the places I would like you to visit when you visit Okazaki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 宝物殿横にある無料の駐車場に車を停め、急な坂道を5分程歩き本堂へ。鎌倉時代、檜皮葺き屋根。開かれた本堂へ入ると木格子の合間から、暗いものの、沢山の仏像が見れて有難い気持ちに成りました。ご本尊は薬師如来様だそうです。源頼朝公に御縁が有り信仰を得て、頼朝公が亡くなられ三回忌にあたる年に本尊に頼朝公の髪、歯を納めた仏像が宝物殿にて見れますので、是非、是非、行って下さい！日曜日に行きましたので、御朱印【用紙でした】も本堂横の建物で頂けました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天武天皇の命で役小角によって創建されたと伝わる古刹です。
滝山寺には「運慶」作の彫刻が3体も伝わっています。江戸時代に彩色しなおされているので、艶やかな色彩がいまに残っています。3体ともお顔や立ち姿がとても美しく、尊いお姿をしています。
他の宝物とともに、収蔵庫に安置されていますが、囲いやガラスケースもないので、思う存分、近寄って見ることができました。来春（2022年）には、ガラスケースで覆うということなので、その前に訪れることができて、ラッキーでした。
収蔵庫だけでなくて、本堂も素敵でした。
本堂には、収蔵庫横の道を辿って登ると、数分で到着です。
また、本堂横の「東照宮」にも参拝しましょう。色彩がよく残っていて、こちらも素敵でした。ただし、東照宮も来春には修理が入るようで、今が訪れどきかと思います。
車で訪れるときは、ナビで「滝山寺収蔵庫駐車場」（宝物殿駐車場だったかも）を検索するといいでしょう。
そうそう、滝山寺に到着する少し前に、大きな朱塗りの三門があります。本堂とともに重要文化財なので、時間があれば是非！
It is an ancient temple that is said to have been built by En no Gyōja at the behest of Emperor Tenmu.
Three sculptures made by "Unkei" are transmitted to Takiyama Temple. Since it was recolored in the Edo period, the glossy colors still remain. All three have very beautiful faces and standing figures, and they are precious figures.
It is kept in the storage along with other treasures, but since there is no enclosure or glass case, I could see it as close as I could. Next spring (2022), I will cover it with a glass case, so I was lucky to be able to visit before that.
Not only the storage but also the main hall was wonderful.
You can reach the main hall in a few minutes by following the road next to the storage.
Also, let's visit the "Toshogu" next to the main hall. The colors remained well, which was also wonderful. However, it seems that Toshogu will be repaired next spring, so I think it's time to visit.
When visiting by car, it is a good idea to search for "Takiyamaji storage parking lot" (maybe it was a treasure hall parking lot) with the navigation system.
Oh yeah, shortly before arriving at Takiyamaji, there is a large vermilion-painted Sanmon. It is an important cultural property along with the main hall, so if you have time, please come!

菩提を弔う為に､運慶親子に作らせた聖観世音菩薩。1199 年に涅槃に入り2年後に出来た佛像には頼朝の髭と歯が隠されていた。頼朝の従兄弟にあたる僧が運慶に佛像を依頼した。開眼から821年経つが佛像の極彩色は江戸時代に修復したために彩色が鮮やか。
ここ瀧山寺は天台宗のお寺。

The Holy Kanzeon Bosatsu, which was made by Unkei's parents and children to mourn the bodhi. Yoritomo's beard and teeth were hidden in the Buddha statue, which was created two years after entering Nirvana in 1199. A monk, a cousin of Yoritomo, asked Unkei for a statue of Buddha. It has been 821 years since the eyes were opened, but the color of the Buddha statue is vivid because it was restored in the Edo period.
Takisanji is a temple of the Tendai sect.
