★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 露天風呂は混浴だが、ほぼ貸し切り。湯舟の床が滑りやすい位滑らかな湯。もう一つの源泉は硫黄の臭いがする。素朴で温かみのある宿。
 The open-air bath is mixed, but it is almost rented out. Smooth hot water where the floor of the bath tub is slippery. Another source smells of sulfur. A rustic, warm accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さい旅館だが湯の質はとてもいい。
男湯と女湯で源泉が違うので、宿泊すると2種類の湯を楽しめる。
浴槽には湯の花が浮いており、かき混ぜ棒で底の水を混ぜることで温度調整ができる。見立てで判断すると絶対後悔するので一度行ってみるといい。
It is a small inn but the quality of the hot water is very good.
Men's and women's hot water sources are different, so you can enjoy two types of hot water when staying.
The hot water flower floats in the bath, and the temperature can be adjusted by mixing the water at the bottom with a stirring rod. It is absolutely regrettable to judge it in a nutshell, so you should go once.

やはり西山温泉の旅館のお湯はどれも良いですね。1300年の歴史だけでなく地熱の強さからくる本当に最高の温泉。博士山が火山だったからか火山性のものも感じられる。
少し熱めのお湯は塩分、硫黄を含みとても良くあたたまります。疲れなんてぶっ飛びますね。かき混ぜると大きな湯の花が沢山踊ります。
他の旅館の源泉より塩分が強く感じられたかな。
川沿いにあり今回は雪が綺麗でした。以前は紅葉が綺麗だったなぁ。
今度は桜の頃に宿泊で伺いたい。

After all the hot water of the inn of Nishiyama Onsen is good. Really the best hot spring that comes from the strength of geothermal as well as 1300 years of history. I can feel the volcanic thing because the doctor's mountain is a volcano.
The slightly hot water contains salt and sulfur and warms up very well. I'm tired of flying. A lot of big hot water flowers dance when we stir.
Was saltiness felt stronger than the source of other inn?
It was along the river and the snow was beautiful this time. Autumn leaves were beautiful before.
I would like to stay there next time cherry blossoms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご飯は勿論、素朴だけど滋味溢れる料理が盛り沢山。車麩の揚煮とあつあつ鮎の塩焼き、ゼンマイ煮が特に美味しかったﾅｱ！
熱めの温泉は湯の華が湯葉の様に溢れる濃厚さ。滝谷川の流れを眺めながらのんびりつかれば、浮き世の世知辛しさも溶けだします。
食事処は畳にテーブル、トイレは共同だけどウォシュレット、布団は羽毛と、近代化されてます。
ただし、虫が苦手な方は夏場は避けた方が賢明。

The hot spring is rich in hot spring flowers like yuba. If you are leisurely watching the flow of the Takitani River, the soberness of the world will begin to melt.
The dining room is a tatami mat with a table and the toilet is shared, but the washlet and the futon have been modernized with feathers.
However, it is better to avoid summer if you are not good at insects.

とても開放的で 湯温もちょうど良く
川の音や 春の風が気持ち良かった～。
混浴は少しハードル高いけど
あ・うんの呼吸並みに
他の方と交流出来たので
とても良かった。
確かに内風呂と泉質違った。
思い立って立ち寄ったけど
1,000円で３ヶ所入れる入湯手形
あったらしい。
今度はそれ買って来よう

硫化水素型だからか独特な匂いがし、
更には大量の湯の花が舞い散る不思議な温泉でした。着いた時には他の利用客もおらず、貸切状態を楽しんでおりました?
近くに川もあり、景色を楽しみながら入るお風呂は最高でした?
自分達が行った時は野天風呂はとてつもなく熱く、一分以上入る事が出来ないレベルでした（笑）
（鹿の湯の感覚で言うと46〜48くらいはある感じ）
やはり南会津方面は良い温泉が多くて最高ですね?
予定が空いてる時は南会津方面を狙って行きたいとおもいます?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are two different types of hot springs, one alkaline and sulfur, the other salty. Both are clear with floating sediment. 100% natural hot springs. The facilities are not very clean. I found spider webs around the bathtubs and wash stand. The bedding lines were clean.
