★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竹原市の1枚目のマンホールカードは当初は道の駅たけはらの観光情報コーナーで配布でしたが、2019年8月からはココ竹原市観光協会事務所に変わりました。配布時間は8:30〜17:00。ただし年末年始（12/29〜1/3）は休みです。ちなみに、道の駅たけはらの観光情報コーナーでは2019年8月7日からは竹原市2枚目となるマンホールカード（B001）を9:00～18:00に配布しています。
Takehara City's first manhole card was initially distributed at the tourist information corner of Takehara Road Station, but from August 2019 it has changed to the Coco Takehara City Tourism Association Office. Distribution time is from 8:30 to 17:00. However, the year-end and New Year holidays (12/29-1/3) are closed. By the way, from August 7th, 2019, Takehara City's 2nd Manhole Card (B001) has been distributed from 9:00 to 18:00 at the Takehara Tourist Information Corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an extremely good experience here speaking with the man working here. I visited Takehara in August 2017 hoping to visit Asahi-yama and the preservation district, and to see some of the sights from my favorite anime Tamayura. The man at the information center was extremely helpful, and provided me with several cold drinks and even some Tamayura related goods for free. He was friendly, and so we talked for quite a while even though my Japanese is not good. I do not know your name, but thank you for a wonderful experience in Takehara!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst tourist info counter I came across. I Came in here and the staff was busy speaking on the phone. Not wanting to interrupt, I patiently waited. The staff on duty totally ignored me for 10 minutes. Not even a brief eye contact or acknowledgement of my presence. I left shortly after. I did not managed to get the attention of the staff on duty.
Perhaps the only good thing here is I managed to get 1 walking map of the area.
