★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらは秩父平氏の流れを汲む高山氏の居城であったとされています。
秩父重綱の三男、重遠は上野国高山邑を与えられ、高山氏を名乗りました。
山内上杉氏が上野守護に任ぜられると、上杉氏に仕え、その重臣となりました。
しかし、北条氏に攻められて上杉氏の平井城は落城。
高山氏は北条の傘下に入りました。
その後は、他の上州の武将達と同じく、ある時は上杉謙信に、またある時は武田信玄に降り、滝川一益のもとでは神流川合戦に奮戦しましたが敗北。やむなく、再び北条に降ったものの、その北条も豊臣秀吉に滅ぼされ、高山氏も没落したといいます。
この高山氏が私の遠いご先祖様であるかも知れず、チョッと悔しい思いがします(^_^;)
It is believed that this was Takayama's residence castle where the flow of Mr. Chichibuhei was enshrined.
Shioto, the third son of Chichibu Shizushina, was given Ueno Kuni Takayama-no-Taki, and named Takayama.
When Mr. Uesugi Yamauchi was appointed to protect Ueno, he served as Mr. Uesugi and became his superior.
However, it is attacked by Mr. Hojo and Mr. Uesugi's Hirai Castle is fallen.
Mr. Takayama was under the umbrella of Hojo.
After that, as with other Joshu warlords, he went down one day to Uesugi Kenshin and another time to Takeda Shingen, and under Takigawa Kazunari struggled to fight the Shinryu River, but lost. It was reluctantly dropped in Hojo, but that Hojo was also destroyed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and it is said that Mr. Takayama also fell.
This Takayama may be my distant ancestor, and I regret it (^ _ ^;)
