★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 美味しい紅葉饅頭です。元祖もみぢ饅頭はつぶ餡も優しい甘さで美味しいし、季節限定の桜もち餡も絶妙。何と言っても生地がもちもちで上品なお味。

本当にめっちゃ美味しい手焼きもみじ饅頭です♡今まで食べたことのない美味しさ！甘いもの苦手な主人もペロリと食べてました。いろんな味があって迷ってしまう。
お店は厳島の中にはありませんのでご注意を。

リーズナブルな粒あんが良いかな。

どこのもみじ饅頭がいいかわからなくて、色々調べた結果ここのお店が元祖とのことだったのでこちらで購入。
他のお店のもみじ饅頭より外側がモチモチしてます。
中の餡子もそこまで甘過ぎない感じでした。
悪くはないけど、まあ普通かな。
広島駅のお土産物コーナーに少しでしたが置いてあります。

外には焼酎の量り売りもありました。
白あん(栗入り)はモチっとしており、冷やしもみじは生クリームが入っていて洋風で美味しかったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もみぢ饅頭を考案した人の孫？のお店です。考案者の初代のみで閉店したが、三代目が幻のもみぢ饅頭を復活してくれました。
宮島口駅、宮島フェリーのりばから徒歩約5分圏内です。
一般的なお土産などで頂く様なもみぢ饅頭とは一線を画しています。最大の特徴は皮で、一般的なものはカステラの様な感じですが、こちらは求肥(ぎゅうひ)が使われてる?様なモチモチした食感の皮です。
餡の種類は、限定ものを入れると10種ほどありました。良さげな感じの品から5種類を買いました。食べてみて個人的なお気に入りだったのは、粒あんと新緑あんでした。特に新緑あんが美味しかった!因みに抹茶あんは無く、代わりに日本茶あんがありました。
大きさが少し小さめなので、物足りなさを感じました。お試しで1個ずつしか買わなかったので、後悔しました。
好みはあるかもしれませんが、1度は食べる価値が十分あると思います。

It is within a 5-minute walk from Miyajimaguchi Station and Miyajima Ferry platform.
It is different from the Momiji buns that you get as souvenirs. The biggest feature is the skin, which is generally like castella, but this is a skin with a chewy texture like Gyuhi is used.
There were about 10 types of bean paste, including limited ones. I bought 5 kinds of good-looking items. When I tried it, my personal favorites were grain and fresh green. Especially the fresh green bean paste was delicious! By the way, there was no matcha bean paste, but Japanese tea bean paste instead.
The size is a little small, so I felt unsatisfactory. I regretted that I bought only one at a time as a trial.
You may have a taste, but I think it's well worth eating once.
