V	VABダム吉 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東京電力様が管理している国内第２位の高さ(堤高176m)を誇るロックフィルダムです。このダムは、揚水発電である七倉ダムの上池にあたります。自家用車で行けない為、専用タクシーを利用して見学に来ました。ダム直下に到着して、タクシーから降りると目の前にゴツゴツとした巨石が山のように積み重なっているのです。思わず立ちすくんでいました。そして右岸側に洪水吐きの存在が目には入ります。七倉と同じスキージャンプ式。かなり迫力があります。減勢工も目視で確認できました。もちろん天端(堤頂長362m)にもタクシーで連れて頂きました。七倉と同じくローラゲート２門、眺めは絶景でした。 This rock fill dam is the second highest in Japan (176m in height) managed by TEPCO.
