★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 震災前は色んなイベントがある憩いの場だったんでしょうね ちゃんとした駐車場などはありませんが、すぐ近くまで車で行く事が出来ました
震災遺構として充分すぎるインパクトがあります

千葉から岩手までのツーリングの道すがら。
この建物の前を通りかかった時に、上層階まで割れて抜けた窓を見て衝撃を受けました。
その時はバイクを止める事が出来ず通過しましたが、どうしてもこの建物をもう一度確かめたく2021年4月に再訪しました。
あんな高い所まで津波が。。。
信じられない。
最近また地震が多いですが、津波警報が出た時に高い所へ逃げる重要性を教えてくれる遺構です。

As I passed in front of this building, I was shocked to see the windows that broke up to the upper floors.
At that time, I couldn't stop the bike and passed by, but I definitely wanted to check this building again and revisited it in April 2021.
The tsunami hits such a high place. .. ..
Unbelievable.
There have been many earthquakes recently, but it is a remains that tells us the importance of escaping to a high place when a tsunami warning is issued.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建物上部にある"津波到達水位"に足がすくんでしまいますね。
階上の行き場の無い怖さが伝わってくる様です。
周辺では工事が行われているので訪問する時は工事車両や規制などにご注意を。
あわせて見学する時は足元に気をつけて建物に近付きすぎないようにしたいですね。

津波に襲われた４階建ての式場です。壁の様にかさ上げされた国道45号の下にあります。
３階まで水没しましたが、従業員さんの適切な誘導で犠牲者は居ませんでした。
9年前に来た時は放置状態でしたが、持ち主の企業が震災遺構として保存を決めたそうです。素晴らしい英断だと思います。
21/4/11 Tour.
It is a four-story ceremony hall that was hit by the tsunami. It is under Route 45, which is raised like a wall.
It was submerged up to the 3rd floor, but there were no casualties due to the proper guidance of the employees.
When I came nine years ago, it was left unattended, but the owner's company decided to preserve it as the remains of the earthquake. I think it's a wonderful decision.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東北大震災 3.:11で地域の高齢者芸能大会をしていた時 この建物にいた利用者の生死を分けた職員の働き 語り部の方から話を聴いて 建物が公的機関の物で無い為に 有志の方により残されているとの事 エピソードに含まれる震災の防災と備え、咄嗟の判断が生死を分けた事など その場に行っても分からない 建物だけでなく 由来…地元の 一般の人々の熱い想い マスクにお金かけるのでなく こういう所に税金使って欲しいなあ～と思いました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tohoku region of Japan was rocked by a massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami in 2011. With all the tragic stories that came out, there were a few good ones. Takano Kaikan is one such building that helped save 327 people and 2 dogs on that fateful day in March.
