★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大阪府立八尾高校の西南角付近に木が生い茂る高さ5m位の小山が有ります、学校OBや地元では通称狐山と言われています。元をただせば、旧大和川が河内平野を流れていた頃の左岸の堤防の名残です、昔、伊勢湾台風で草木が倒れ坊主山になったり、太平洋戦争時は射撃用に使われたり、その時々を見守った小山です、名前の狐山ですが昔はお稲荷さんを祀り鳥居が有ったり祠も有ったそうです、昔から元々そこに有ったと言い伝わると言う人もいます、しかしはっきりした事は不明らしいです。

It is a remnant of the bank on the left bank when the old Yamato River was flowing through the Kawachi plain.In the old days, Isewan typhoon caused vegetation to collapse and become a shaved mountain, used for shooting during the Pacific War, Koyama, who watched from time to time, is the name of Fox Mountain, but in the old days it was said that there were torii gates and shrines that worshiped Inari-san. It seems that what I did is unknown.
