★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高蔵寺阿弥陀堂へ続く参道の左右に立つ杉の巨木で、平成17年5月10日に宮城県の天然記念物に指定された。
阿弥陀堂に向かって左側の「大杉」は推定樹齢800年と言われ、樹高27ｍ。
反対側の、阿弥陀堂に向かって右側に立つ「右杉」は、推定樹齢550年～570年と言われている。
本堂の前で参拝者を迎える大杉は、高蔵寺阿弥陀堂の荘厳な雰囲気を参拝者により一層強く印象付けている。
It is a giant cedar tree that stands on the left and right of the approach leading to Kozoji Temple Amidado, and was designated as a natural monument in Miyagi Prefecture on May 10, 2005.
The "Osugi" on the left side of Amidado is said to be 800 years old and has a height of 27m.
On the other side, "Right cedar" standing on the right side facing Amida-do is said to be estimated to be 550 to 570 years old.
Osugi, who welcomes worshipers in front of the main hall, impresses the worshipers with the solemn atmosphere of Kozoji Temple Amidado.
