 The summer forest bath is nice, but the BBQ you eat in the winter-only natural snow "Kamakura Restaurant" is the best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ハチ北スキー場、木の殿堂が周辺施設としてあります。道中の道はチョット舗装が荒れているので注意が必要です。
元々は「和池の大カツラ」とその周辺環境を保護する目的で設立されたとのこと。日に5000トンもの湧水が湧き、自然豊かな環境となっています。
庭内は、舗装された遊歩道だけではなく、木々の間の小道や、湿原の木道などがあり、木陰にはベンチが設置されていて野鳥のさえずりを聴きながら過ごすこともできます。管理棟で有料ですがハンモックを借りる事もできます。
湧水が豊富であることから、芝の様に「苔」がびっしりと地面を覆っています。日本人にとって苔はありふれた物で、さほど特別視する様なものではないですが、海外の人達から観ると、見た事のない光景のはずです。特に庭園文化のある英国人とかにもっとアピールできるんじゃないかなと思います。
四季を通じて、草花や木々の雰囲気が癒やしてくれる場所だと思います。

お店の外のベンチで待っていると、なんと丁寧な包装！?
おもてなしの心、感じました?

夏は高原の花や植物が好きな人には、約1時間、おしゃれな散歩道がある。標高666m、涼しい。500円の入園シールを胸に貼り、見るべきポイントを聞くと、絶対見て下さいね！念を押された場所が有る✌️
樹齢1000年、和地の大かつら。成る程?1日5000トンの水が涌き出るとある。そして9'5℃は冷たくてうまい✌️
京都の銘水巡りをしたが、この1000年の土壌、自然が築いた水には負けました?
もう一つ、この水の流れる傍に、岩と木が絡まった縁結びの木(岩)を見つけた?
帰りに教えてあげた、若いカップルも触れてたわ✋

フォトコンテストをしていて、好きな写真にシールを貼るのは 楽しかったです。四季折々の花とかが楽しめたらいいのにと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 非常に手入れされた、とても綺麗なのに広大な洋風庭園といった雰囲気です。ですが、そこは兵庫県、日本らしい動植物の宝庫でもあります。
園内にはクヌギやコナラなど夏の昆虫が大好きな木々も豊富で、また湿原もあるので、かなり幅の広い昆虫観察ができます。一方あまり危険な生き物は散見出来ないので、子供連れでの体験にももってこいです。
もちろん園内本来の様々な名所は必見です。

植栽も美しく、どこを撮影しても絵になる植物園
なるべく自然な形での展示をこころがけていおり、美しい。
高原の植物を中心に年中たのしめる。
雪の多い１２月から３月中旬あたりまでは雪のため園内に立ち入ることは出来ない。
この３ヶ月～４ヶ月近くの休園が、この植物園の美しさを保っているとおもわれる。
トイレは、入り口と園内にある。
イベントも開催され、楽しい植物園。
園内ガイドもあり、参加すると楽しい。
また、ヒュッテにはおいしいランチなどの食事を出来る場所もあり、のんびりした時間を過ごすことができる。
道路わきに設置されている千年水を汲むことが出来る施設があり１００円程度で汲ませてもらえる。

木の殿堂方面からだと車で5分くらいです。
駐車場は無料、入園料は大人1人500円です。
園内は広くて遊歩道は歩きやすく整備されてます。
隅々まで歩くと小さな小川も有りめちゃくちゃ冷たいです。少し残念だったのは湿原が整備されてなかったので見所が少なかった。
園内奥にある大きなカツラの木は少し傷んでいますがまだまだ健在。カツラの木には澄んだ水が沢山流れてて木の周りには苔やシダ植物等、生命を感じます。
湧き水も持って帰ることが出来ますよ。湧き水を入れる容器は植物園入り口の受付で100円位で販売してます。
植物園にはレストランも併設されておりリーズナブルな価格で地元の食材を使った料理が食べれます。
