I had been sick with a sore throat/tonsil swelling, fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes for a while. I asked the doctor if we could see if I had EBV, he said I couldn't possibly have it as I wasn't "sick enough". He prescribed me with a very strong antibiotic and painkiller. I trusted my gut feeling and went to a different doctor a few days later, I did not take the antibiotic. The other doctor found out I did have EBV with a blood test and did a throat culture which showed no harmful bacteria. So his diagnosis was wrong, and the antibiotics would have been pointless and done more harm than good. I would rate this doctor one star, however I did appreciate the english support and nice building/reception. If you come from a country with free healthcare such as the UK, please avoid this doctor, you'll be frustrated at their need to make money and treat symptoms rather than investigate the cause of an illness. However this is a common issue within Japan and not exclusive to this clinic, just try to find a more foreign friendly clinic that actually investigates what is wrong with you. If you just want medicine quick and fast, then this clinic is probably suitable for you.
