★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have this insane rule about shoes and wouldn't let me work out in the only pair I brought to Japan. Apparently you have to bring with you a second set in order to not contaminate the floor of the gym...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the smaller sports complex they have in Tokyo. But more than adequate to cater to professional competitions. Got to attend a competition for Jiujitsu and it was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gym is basic but has some cardio machines and free weights. The men’s changing room was clean. At ¥250 a visit, I could not really complain too much and I did a decent 50 minute work out.
The outdoor pool is a welcome retreat in the Tokyo heat, again ¥250 for entry, with good views of the SkyTree as you swim! People were sunbathing by the pool but there aren’t any chairs or loungers and I didn’t recall seeing any shade. Definitely a good place to cool down and a 10 minute walk into Asakusa for coffee or lunch after ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very big sports complex with good quality courts and arenas. Good and hygienic shower baths are a plus after sweating like hell post matches. You can enjoy lots of good food nearby and relax near river during evenings. It’s a very popular place so pretty much crowded all the time. A less star for no vending machine inside the building, just one on the ground floor.
