市	市村寿男 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 戦国大和で活躍した豪族・十市氏が築いた大和最大級の山城が山頂にある。青垣山系最高峰で二等三角点「竜王山」585.5mが設置されている。雑木に囲まれた山頂部は西側に眺望があり、大和盆地や大和三山を見下ろし、生駒、信貴、二上、葛城、金剛を見渡せる。天気が良ければ、大阪湾や明石海峡大橋も見ることができる。直下には竜王社があり、雨乞いの山でもあり、山名の由来にもなっていて、谷の水も豊かである。 20/11/30訪問。やや急勾配ではあるが、道はよく整備され、足回りを整えて登るなら、問題はないだろう。 Yamato's largest mountain castle built by Mr. Toichi, a powerful family who was active in the Sengoku period, is on the summit. 雲	雲外蒼天123 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 眺めの良さは抜群。奈良盆地のほとんどが見えます。快晴の日に登ることをお薦めします。長岳寺からは直登になりますので結構しんどいです。気軽に登るなら天理ダムを経由して車で頂上付近まで行くことをお薦めします。初心者はやめといた方が無難です。帰路は必ず同じ道を戻って下さい。 The view is outstanding. You can see most of the Nara Basin. We recommend climbing on a clear day. It's quite difficult because it's a direct climb from Chogakuji Temple. If you want to climb easily, we recommend that you drive to the top of the mountain via Tenri Dam. It is safer for beginners to stop. Please be sure to return the same way on your way back.

However, it is safer to stop if you are not confident in the opposite of the car. It takes 5 to 10 minutes on foot from Dontsuki on the road to reach the summit on the south side, and it is an observatory with a panoramic view of the Nara Basin on the west side.
