T	Toshihiko Yano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 釘と釘抜きの絵馬（馬でもないし絵でもないが）が本堂周りにビッシリと貼られ、色とりどりの提灯がにぎやか。京都盆地に大小無数の神社仏閣はあるが、庶民的なモノとなると案外少なく、かつ、風雨にさらされ朽ち果て行くに任せるでは無く手入れが行き届いたモノとなると更に探すのが難しくなるが、その条件をクリアした実に京都らしいお寺。絵馬と提灯に気を取られていると見落とすが、本堂裏の小堂にある石造の仏像は国の重要文化財指定。バスや電車だと場所的に微妙だが、北野天満宮に千本釈迦堂まで来たならば、それらとキャラも違うため、足を運ぶ価値があると思う。 Nail and nail-pulling votive tablets (neither horses nor pictures) are stuck around the main hall, and colorful lanterns are lively. あ	あとり on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 21年10月4日に訪れました。今回は「北野天満宮」→「千本釈迦堂」→と歩いて訪れました。『石像寺』は『釘抜地蔵』と呼ばれています。苦しみを抜き取る信仰から「苦抜地蔵」と呼ばれていて、それがなまって『釘抜地蔵』となったといわれています。また、手の病気に悩む商人の夢に地蔵菩薩が現れて、手に刺さっていた怨みの2本の釘を抜いて救ったことから『釘抜地蔵』となったともいわれています。本堂の壁に、2本の八寸釘と釘抜きが貼り付けられた絵馬が約1000枚びっしりと奉納されています。これは苦しみから抜け出せるよう地蔵菩薩に祈願し、成就したら、この絵馬を奉納するという古くからの習わしだそうです。この光景はインパクト大。是非現地で生の光景を見て欲しいですね❣️ 御朱印は本堂の周りを100回か、自分の数え年の回数だけ回るといただけると住職さんに教えていただきました。（今回は断念しました。） I visited on October 4, 2009. 神	神戸昴 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ バス停乾隆校前徒歩圏内。弘法大師さま建立の古刹寺院で、通称の釘抜地蔵は、もともと苦しみを抜き去る苦抜地蔵と呼ばれていた、こちらのご本尊さまが、前世の罪で手の病に苦しむ商人の夢に現れ、手に刺さっていた二本の怨みの釘を抜いて商人をお救いになったことに由来しています。このことから現在も地蔵堂の周りの壁は、二本の釘と釘抜きを張り付けた絵馬が多数奉納され、非常にインパクトの強い光景が広がっています。御朱印はお百度参りの祈願をされた方に限り授与されます。私もこちらで、お百度参りをさせて頂きましたが、一心にお参りされている方が数人いらっしゃり、非常に愛されている町堂であると認識しました。是非、参拝されて下さい。 Walking distance from the bus stop Kenryuko Mae.
