★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s true that Switch Coffee is a little out of the way, but I think there’s a lot in the area to recommend it even for a casual tourist. Make this place a pit-stop as you walk along the river either to or from Nakameguro and you won’t be disappointed. Yes, there’s no seating. But the two baristas I chatted with (one had extensive study abroad experience in Canada so the place is definitely English friendly, despite what other reviews have said) were super friendly and the coffee was great. They have some staple roasts and some rotating offerings, and you can pick if you want French press or pour over. I had a great time here and would definitely go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little cozy coffee shop in quiet residential area of Meguro. It was hot and sunny, but I tried hot brewed coffee 300yen. (handdrip costs 600yen.) Kenya, perfectly fruity for this time of season. Tastes more of like a red wine than a coffee. The bench placed in the entrance is only seat you can sit but can feel relaxing atmosphere especially in the morning of a weekday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This café is really making headways in the Tokyo coffee scene. It roasts it's coffee beans on site to give your the best coffee experience. There are fresh, ready-made, hand-dripped coffees available at an unbeatable ¥300 which were really good. I bought coffee beans home and they were excellent. Watch out for more Switch cafés under the same boss! They will not disappoint. Visited 10 December 2017.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot to grab a quick cup of high quality coffee. There is a standing spot and a bench at the store as the only dine in options. They serve one kind of coffee per day, but have several different beans you can buy to take home. The staff were great and they spoke excellent English. Drop by if you’re in the neighborhood.
