Enter the store by diving. It looks like a normal hairdresser, and the time required is usually 4000 yen, but it's a comfortable service that doesn't feel as busy as in Tokyo.

The first ? barber to move to Cal. Kanto Koshinetsu Barber Association Unified price ¥ 4000. If you come here, you should have your hair trimmed every three weeks. Open from 8am. Regular holidays are Mondays, the first and third Sundays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Full service barber shop. Father and son operation. I got a shave, shampoo and haircut, plus ear wax cleaning, nose and eyebrow trimming, massage by hands and the big massage engine. All for ¥4,000 (about $36). First time shaved by straight razor and by someone else, quite an experience! Convenient location to Karuizawa train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cost ¥2600 for a cut. The dude was very good, and fixed the terrible attempt at a haircut I tried on myself.
Spoke a small amount of English, so understood what I wanted :)
He did an awesome job, and once it was done, wham! Suddenly he throws out a neck, back, and head massage.
All in all, definitely worth the money.
Amazing first experience of getting my hair cut in Japan!
