★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神社の扁額には、〔須津彦神社〕と〔須津姫神社〕の両方が書いてあり、地元の人に「須津姫神社はどこか？」と聞いたら、「須津彦神社なら、この先だ」と教えられた。どうも地元では〔須津彦神社〕と呼ばれているらしい。境内左手の道路際に芭蕉の句碑が立っている。

〔梅が香に・・〕は元禄７年（１６９４）の作。
Both the [Sutsu Hiko Shrine] and [Sutsu Hime Shrine] are written on the sum of the shrine, and when I ask the local people "Where is the Suzu Hime Shrine?" It was taught. Apparently it is called [Szuhiko Shrine] locally. A pavilion is standing along the road on the left side of the precinct.
