回転寿司だけど、レーンは回ってなく口頭で注文するスタイル。 なので実質はカウンター寿司ですね。ネタは新鮮でどれを頼んでも美味しいです。とくにむしエビと金華さばが絶品でした。バリエーション豊かなサイドメニューもおすすめです。

郷ヶ丘の真ん中にある、小さなお店。元プリン屋のところ。昼はどんぶりやチョイ呑みなど、夜は飲み屋かな?店主に相談すれば、作れるものは作ってくれそう。完全なるお寿司やさんではない。テーブル2つにカウンター5人くらい。酒の肴的なおかずもいろいろあり。自宅の近くにあるといいな。ランチで食べに行きましたが海鮮丼税込1000円でした。店主はいろいろこだわりがある様子。ご夫婦で切り盛りかな?頑張ってほしいですね。

見た目は寂れた回転寿司。 入ると回転してないレーンに大将さんがいらっしゃいます。 ほかの方の口コミを読む限り以前よりも愛想がいい感じなのでしょうか。でもら職人さんなら多少つっけんどんな方が味の期待もあがりそうですね。 大将は静かな方でしたがおススメを教えてくれたりとお話ししやすい印象でした。 お寿司はどれもとても美味しく、特にエビがおススメだそうです。エビだけで10皿召し上がった方もいるのだとか。たしかに他では見ない肉厚なエビです。しかしなんといってもここのふわふわの穴子、最高でした。穴子なら私も10皿食べてしまいそうです。 シャリもふんわりと空気を含んでおりテレビで見るようなゆっくり沈むタイプです。 私が伺ったのは夏頃ですがお雑煮もあり、飲んだシメにもピッタリだそうです。いろいろなメニューがあり、大変楽しめます。 またお伺いしたいお店です。

【注意】引っ越し作業中の、休業中の元の店内写真を掲載して、潰れたというようなことをレビューしている方がいらっしゃるようなのですが、移転前の店舗なんですから、やってないのは当たり前です。郷ヶ丘で営業中なので、お気をつけ下さい。閉業していたら、口コミできませんし。 * 寿司屋だから寿司が美味しいのは当たり前、料理人として、他のメニューも美味しく、という大将。接客のことを書かれている方もいらっしゃいますが、特段愛嬌のある方ではないかも知れませんけど、最初からグイグイ入り込まれるよりは私は良いです。多趣味なので、通ううちに面白いお話しが聞けるようになり、楽しませていただいています。肝心のお寿司ですが、看板メニューの蒸し海老は、丁寧なお仕事のなせる技。プリプリとした食感で、甘みが口に広がります。季節のものを、他店とは異なる味わいで美味しく食べさせて下さるところも素晴らしい。充実したサイドメニューも、コトコト煮込んだ牛すじ、さっぱりした味わいの揚げ雑煮など、食べる価値ありです! 追記(2018年3月)…他の人が書かれているように、現在大将が闘病中で、休業なさっています。それももうすぐ終わり、と思っています。大将が、すし八の大将として戻って来られる日を心待ちにしています。昨年春にいただいた、ふきのとう巻きが待ち遠しいですが、そう遠くないうちに大将の握りが食べられるのならば、今年はふきのとう巻きがいただけなくともいい!丁寧な仕事の蒸し海老、なかなかよそでは味わえないホッケの握り、バランスのとれた甘みのいなり寿司、風味高い海苔で作る巻物、炊飯器で作るケーキ、味わえる日を楽しみにし、心よりエールを送ります。 追記(2018年12月末)…春に闘病から復帰され、さらにパワーアップ。建物が老朽化により取り壊しとなることから、郷ケ丘に移転されました。新メニューの天丼は8品も入って800円。揚げたてをいただけます。海鮮丼もあるし、名物のむしえびもいただけるし、牛すじの煮込み、とろける塩辛も健在です。また楽しみが増えました。
