Very friendly Master who enjoys speaking English. English menu also available. Tourists enjoy a warm welcome alongside the local regulars. Takeout also available. If there’s no space at the counter, order out and enjoy a picnic in nearby Nakano Central Park.

My favourite of all of them was the aburi salmon, which was the best amongst all aburi salmon I've ever had. The experience of standing with the chef across the counter was pretty unique, and the chef who served us was really friendly and understood a fair bit of English. Last but not least, the price was very reasonable. Overall, very enjoyable without burning a hole in the wallet - I definitely recommend this place.
