★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This, as most people will tell you, is a must visit destination for gaming enthusiasts.
There are many stores along the way that are similar however after checking them all out i believe super potatoe is still king.
Their range was immense. They had a gaming lounge on the top floor and a variety of consoles and games to buy. Its a tiny bit out of the way but if you navigate with google maps you will be fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like heaven for retro games. You can find a lot of great condition games from a large line of generation's. There's even arcade at the top floor. There's also some merchandise related to the store or game franchises to purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nostalgia galore. This place is filled of games and technology from the 90s and it's amazing. The selection of games and "consoles" are plentiful; they even have setup so that you can test the consoles out with different games. The prices for the games are fairly prices, however, if you are looking to purchase a more rare and collectable item, be ready to pay the price. I wouldn't necessarily call it overpriced, since it is a rare item, but that's up for you to decides when you actually see the item.
But 100 dollars for a gameboy??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is the heavens for the retro games, they have all my childhood... But the price are high, if you need something cheap, this is no the place.
Also you can play old video games in the last floor... Have some snacks to spend your time Here.
If the prices are cheaper will be my favorite place in Akihabara

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Arcade store and retro video game, both bought more than we expected! Great customer service and could be in the store for hours easily! All the way up the stairs multiple levels too. Recommend just walking up the stairs as the lift looked very small!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another wonderful shop full of retro game systems and cartridges of all types! Like a trip back in time. So much selection, so much fun!
There was also a small arcade gaming zone on one of the higher floors with a corner selling vintage snacks and sweets of the past.
Great fun for adults, and perhaps - for children - an insightful look into the past. Definitely worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth a visit if you remember or are just interested in retro games. I’ve seen some pretty impressive stores like this in the US, but this one is still definitely worth a visit. There are piles and piles of old systems and neatly packed shelves full of Japanese flavor games from the 80s and 90s. The fifth floor retro arcade was pretty fun too, although some of the controls are definitely not working right anymore. One of the coolest items I saw for sale was replacement buttons for SNES controllers. I finally gave up my SNES a couple years ago because the buttons on the controllers had stopped working and I couldn’t find a replacement. But somehow Super Potato has them.
