★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sunshine aquarium was BEAUTIFUL! I love that it was on a roof and the seals and penguin exhibits were awesome. The variety of sea life they have was really nice and their shop is full of cute goodies to take home. I also really enjoyed all the Halloween decorations they had. Overall it was a great time and I would love to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVE this aquarium. The immersive penguin tank is to die for but all the tanks were interesting and had animals I haven't seen before. Seal show was special too. So glad we stopped here. It's attached to a mall with a ton of other things to do as well. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The aquarium was fab. Surprisingly large and well thought out habitats for the animals considering it is based in a shopping centre. Good variation of wildlife and I definitely the joint ticket with the observatory.
However, I do not recommend the special exhibition with the other animals as aside from the fact the it was small and you basically had to queue to see all the animals, their enclosures were small and basic. I know it's only temporary but still made me sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A compact, urban aquarium inside the Ikebukuro SUNSHINE building. Comfortable inside the building, fairly hot/cold in the outside area with penguins, sea otters, and seals. They have a Tully’s Coffee shop and it's not so crowded throughout the year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a cute aquarium. Not that big though, but cheap enough that it was ok. There is food on the 3rd floor, so convent. Also it's in a shopping center, so can be combined with other stuff to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super small place, totally no worth it the money, my recommendation don't buy the annual pass, but during covid season , annual pass allow you entrance right away while day pass ,you have to wait on the line to get in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lot of different species of seafood and reptiles to see. While it is entertaining for most people, it can seem unsatisfactory for aquarium afficionados. There were a lot of nursery trips being held at the time we went so as expected, a lot of noisy toddlers. The outdoor part of the aquarium had pink pelicans and South African penguins to look at.
The facilities were clean and that must be where the bulk of the payment went. We finished looking around in just 70 minutes.
