★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 神聖な場所として保護されているのか、黒い柵によって入れなくなっています。
幕末の公卿中山忠能(1809~1888)の屋敷跡にある井戸「祐井」。
中山忠能の娘慶子(1836~1907)を母として明治天皇は誕生した。
この井戸は明治天皇の幼名「祐宮」にちなんで名付けられた。
ただ天皇のうぶ湯に使った井戸は枯れてしまって、祐宮2歳のときに新たに掘られたもの。

The well "Yui" at the site of the mansion of Tadayasu Nakayama (1809 ~ 1888), the late Tokugawa shogunate.
Emperor Meiji was born to the mother of Tadayasu Nakayama's daughter Keiko (1836-1907).
This well is named after the childhood name of Emperor Meiji, "Yumiya".
However, the well used for the emperor's ubuyu has withered and was newly dug when Yumiya was 2 years old.
