末広稲荷大明神設置の由来
京都の伏見稲荷大明神を本山に載くこの稲荷は、明治の初め
から昭和二十年の終戦まで旧陸軍がそ有しておりました。
明治五年 赤羽郷に兵器支廠赤羽火薬庫が完成し、火薬庫
の災難除けに稲荷神社を祀り、毎年初牛の日にお祓いをうけ
無事を祈願していました。昭和二十年に終戦を迎え、火薬庫
跡地は、海外引揚者や戦争被災者の住居用として転用され、
稲荷神社も軍所有から桐ヶ丘氏子会へと移転されました。
その後、団地計画に伴い神社敷地が狭められたため、現在地
に移転されました。以来近辺の守護神として鎮座しています。

境内には「支那事変記念樹（昭和十三年二月）」とあり，辛うじて往時の様子を伝える。
本殿は流見世棚造。
