★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料駐車場至近で、天守閣と間違える和風外観の交流施設、大きなカワセミの像など手入れが行き届いた園部公園に隣接する展示施設です。博物館と称するにしては展示も貧弱で物足りないうえ、現代工芸展のような催事で常設展示エリアが縮小されていました。しかも館内は撮影禁止です。茅葺きの民俗展示などを期待して立ち寄りましたがガッカリでした。園部公園はドライブ休憩に立ち寄りるには良い場所でした。
This is an exhibition facility adjacent to Sonobe Park, which is close to free parking, well-maintained with a Japanese-style interchange facility mistaken for a castle tower and a large kingfisher statue. The museum was not enough to display as a museum, and the permanent exhibition area was reduced by events such as the Contemporary Crafts Exhibition. Moreover, photography is prohibited inside the hall. I stopped by in anticipation of thatched folk exhibitions, but I was disappointed. Sonobe Park was a good place to stop for a drive break.

It was good that the entrance fee was cheap because it was reserved. The parking lot is large and I am very satisfied with the interesting exhibits.

It's confusing when I go for the first time. It is on the second floor of the library, but on the side of the library up the stairs.
