It is a terraced rice field that can be said to be the original scenery of Japan. As with all rice terraces, the road is narrow for those who shoot, so please be careful not to go up the hill by car.

The terraced rice fields in early summer were shining. The weather was nice, so I stayed for about 2 hours from around 17:30. The rice terraces, the Sea of Japan and the sunset are the best!

There are about 400 small staircase terraced rice fields in a location overlooking the Sea of Japan. Tango boasts a rice field where rice is flourishing and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Rice Terraces in Japan" due to its beautiful scenery. Since it is a small farm village in the old days and the roads are quite narrow, I think it's better to walk slowly rather than go around the rice terraces by car. It is a popular place for photographers from before planting rice to autumn when harvesting rice. Perhaps it is possible to take pictures of Uyuni salt lake known for the mirror of the sky at the time of Shirota before rice planting around GW.

We visited by listening to a gentle aunt from Ine's tourist information. It would have been nice if I could park on foot and walk up, but I tried to climb up a narrow hill sideways and try to climb up a narrow hill, but I'm giving up because it's curving in a narrow area! ..

It is difficult to find rice terraces from the road, so it may be better to see it from the hillside between Yuzu and Cape Keiga.

Due to my work, I am not blessed with the opportunity to visit during the spring and autumn rice cultivation season. This time the end of winter Feel the breath of spring I was summoned to Sodeshi Rice Terraces. It is difficult to drive from the village along the road to the rice terraces above by leaving it to the navigation. It is safer to stop. Just the Y-shaped road ahead? T-junction? Turn left from You can go by car. The road is narrow You can't turn around unless you go to the vicinity of the shooting point in the back, but I thought it was a good time to look at the Sea of Japan from the rice terraces. In the spring and autumn farming season It is recommended that you park your car near the information board along the highway and enjoy the terraced rice fields of the Sea of Japan on foot. Kyoto It was a landscape that made you feel Kyoto in the sea. Next time I would like to visit during the rice cultivation season.

So many levels and intricately shaped paddies on the Sea of Japan. Breathtaking. These rice terraces are just amazing and justifiably on the list of top rice terraces in Japan. The are cut into the mountains and the road winding through takes you up above them all. There are so many levels, and they are all uniquely shaped and hand planted (I saw people out working in them when I was there). I think the best season to see them is the spring when they are flooded / the rice seedlings are just planted. Coming during sunset would also probably be amazing. Like others have mentioned, the roads winding through the area are extremely narrow, and I would recommend parking at the bottom and walking through the area (so you can also take you time taking pictures and not get in the way of farm trucks). I think cyclists would also have an easy time, though the roads are steep and its quite fun to walk through the central paths surrounded on all side by water. Highly Recommend. These are totally worth a stop along your journey.
