狭い商店街の通りから日枝神社の参道を歩いていくと見つかります。源頼朝公の異母兄弟である源範頼が幽閉され、最期は梶原景時の軍勢に襲われ落命したと伝わる場所が「信功院」です。「信功院」そのものは既になく、「信功院」は庚申堂となり、その敷地にあった「庚申塔」が残されています。その庚申塔がある場所が、源範頼が幽閉された信功院跡と伝わっています。源範頼は、木曽義仲・平家討伐にと活躍した武将ですが、判官贔屓もあり源義経の影に隠れた存在です。また、勝手気ままな部分のあった義経に比べ、頼朝公に事細かに指図を仰いだ源範頼ですが、結局は、謀反の疑いを掛けられ伊豆に流されてしまいます。但し、正史には、その最期（討ち死等）は残されてはおらず、逃げ延びた説もある方です。逃げ延びた説もありますが、修善寺の裏手には、源範頼のお墓があります。

However, in the official history, the end (death, etc.) is not left, and there is a theory that he escaped. There is a theory that he escaped, but behind Shuzenji is the tomb of Minamoto no Nori.
