境内から少し上った場所に毘沙門堂があり
毘沙門尊天をお祀りしています
甲冑を身にまとい仏塔と宝棒を持つ姿は
凛々しさそのものです
堂の外に大量のしゃもじが掛けてあり
[毘沙門天の招福へらは願い事を書いてここに奉納して下さい]とありましたので 御朱印を頂く際に聞いてみたら 「別段、いわれはありません 大きさが丁度いいでしょ」って話で・・笑ってしまいました
