参道左手に赤子を抱いた子育て観音像が立ち、朱塗りの観音堂があります。観音堂に安置されている観音菩薩は、昔から女性のための観音様として知られています。縁結び、夫婦和合、子授け、安産、女性の病気治癒に御利益があり、心願成就のお礼として赤いのぼりや赤い糸が奉納されています。
