最近、山門を新築され遠目に綺麗なお寺だなと思い気軽に立ち寄りました。
縁起を調べると、このお寺は戦国時代に由緒ある古刹と分かり看板を探しましたが、工事中なので庫裏に立てかけてありそれを必死で読みました。
このあたりは長篠の戦いで有名な設楽原古戦場らしく、勝楽寺の当時の住職が、戦没者の供養や信長家康の戦勝祝いをされたらしく、歴史ファンにはとても興味深い場所です。
山門から南を眺めると川を隔てて山々が綺麗に見えて、戦国時代を夢想しながらゆっくりできました。
I often go to Shinshiro by motorcycle, but it's a temple I've always visited recently.
Recently, a new mountain gate was built and I thought it was a beautiful temple in the distance, so I stopped by casually.
When I looked up the luck, I found that this temple was a historical temple during the Warring States period, and I searched for a signboard, but since it was under construction, I leaned against the back of the warehouse and read it desperately.
This area seems to be the ancient battlefield of Shitarahara, which is famous for the battle of Nagashino, and it seems that the chief priest of Shorakuji at that time was a memorial service for the war dead and a celebration of the victory of Nobunaga Ieyasu, which is a very interesting place for history fans.
Looking south from the gate, I could see the mountains beautifully across the river, and I was able to relax while dreaming of the Warring States period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長篠設楽原合戦の史跡のひとつであり、合戦戦没者供養のお寺さんです。目の前にある三河東郷駅の横には長篠設楽原合戦の巨大な案内絵図があり周辺を巡る際に便利です。また、お寺さんの南側に広がる田園地帯に山本勘蔵信供の墓と伝わる場所があります。徒歩でも行けますので立ち寄ってはいかがでしょうか。
