焼失してしまったとのことで、本堂はコンクリート。だけれどなんだか温もりが感じられます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山門の扁額は江戸時代の高名な書家高玄融の筆によるものだそうです。境内は綺麗に清掃されていていました。杉並区の掲示物によると、江戸時代の当寺は与力・同心など武家寺として栄えていましたが、墓地が狭小なことから大正7年6月に寺院の維持発展のため、現在地に移転して来たといいます。『農政本論』『経済要録』『開国要論』等の著者で江戸時代の農政学者佐藤信淵（1850年没）の墓があります。私が訪問したのは２０２１．９．でした。落ち着いた雰囲気の良いお寺さんです。
