★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「龍門山 正法禅寺」は南北朝時代の貞治元年（1362年）、説宗讃和尚によって創建され、仙鱗等膳和尚により中興された曹洞宗寺院です。
仙鱗等膳和尚は駿府で修行中、臨済寺で今川の人質となっていた松平竹千代（後の徳川家康）の教育を担当したことがありました。また、故郷の岡崎に帰りたがっていた竹千代をカゴに隠して清水港まで運び、舟で篠島まで逃がして70日間かくまった後、岡崎城に届けたとの言い伝えも残されています。
そのようなことで和尚は家康と懇意な関係にあり、後に十万石の大名待遇を受け、袋井市にある東陽軒（後の「可睡齋」）の十一世住職として迎えられました。そのような経緯もあって正法禅寺は可睡斎の直末となりました。
ちなみに、仙鱗等膳和尚は浜松城の徳川家康に招かれた際、家康の前で居眠りをしたことにより「可睡和尚（家康の前で眠ることを許された和尚）」と呼ばれるようになり、住職を務めた「東陽軒」も「可睡齋」と呼ばれるようになりました。
"Ryumonzan Shohozenji" is a Soto sect temple that was founded by Osho Sansou in the first year of Joji (1362) during the Nanbokucho period, and was built by Osho Zenji.
During his training in Sunpu, Senraku and others were in charge of the education of Takechiyo Matsudaira (later Ieyasu Tokugawa), who was the hostage of Imagawa at Rinzaiji. There is also a legend that Takechiyo, who wanted to return to his hometown of Okazaki, was hidden in a basket and carried to Shimizu Port, then escaped to Shinoshima by boat, hidden for 70 days, and then delivered to Okazaki Castle.
As a result, Osho had a friendly relationship with Ieyasu, and was later treated as a daimyo of 100,000 stones, and was appointed as the eleventh chief priest of Toyoken (later "Akiha Sohonden") in Fukuroi City. .. Due to such circumstances, Shohozenji became the immediate end of Akiha Sohonden.
By the way, when Ieyasu Tokugawa of Hamamatsu Castle invited him to take a nap in front of Ieyasu, he was called "Akiha Sohonden (Osho who was allowed to sleep in front of Ieyasu)". As a result, "Toyoken", who served as the chief priest, has also come to be called "Akiha Sohonden".
