★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 横手市田中町にある曹洞宗の寺院です。御本尊は十一面観世音菩薩は。創建は寛治年中（1087～1094）、奥州藤原氏一門・藤原正衡によって開かれたのが始まりと伝えられています。地元民からは「赤門の寺」と呼ばれ親しまれています。
It is a temple of the Soto sect in Tanakamachi, Yokote City. The principal image is the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bosatsu. It is said that the foundation was opened during the Kanji era (1087-1094) by Mr. Fujiwara Oshu and Masahiro Fujiwara. It is known by the locals as the "Akamon Temple".
