『聖護院八ツ橋』は創業元禄2年（1689年創業）を謳っている老舗の八ツ橋販売店です。生八ツ橋のニッキと抹茶の詰め合わせを購入しました。どちらももちもちふわふわで口触りなめらかで甘い味です。生八ツ橋にはアンコが入っておらず、生地そのものの味を楽しむことができます。どちらも京都を代表する味覚と言えそうです。京都観光の際は是非生八ツ橋を御賞味ください。
 It is said that the food "Yatsuhashi" was born in the 2nd year of Genroku (1689), but the current situation is that there is little evidence. (As of November 22, 2020)
"Seigoin Yatsuhashi" is a long-established Yatsuhashi store that claims to be in the 2nd year of Genroku (founded in 1689). I bought an assortment of raw Yatsuhashi Nikki and Matcha. Both are chewy, fluffy, smooth to the touch and sweet. Raw Yatsuhashi does not contain anko, so you can enjoy the taste of the dough itself. Both of them seem to be representative of Kyoto. Please enjoy the raw Yatsuhashi when you go sightseeing in Kyoto.
