★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Ukiyo-e exhibition. It was HUGE. This is a wonderful museum. Lots of cool souvenirs too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's difficult to rate this museum- that is, it has to be rated on its physical space and ability to present each show, as it doesn't have a permanent collection. After my first visit, I would have given the museum a lower rating since the show was very small. The 'Barcelona' exhibition which just finished was very nice and comparatively much larger and better presented. I felt that the lighting could have been better - and not connected to the exhibit, the air was stuffy and a little smelly - like a locker room- but I've still given it four stars. Optimism :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For foreign visitors maybe this museum isn't so exciting to visit. The museum seems nice upon entering and there is some English information but actually each piece exhibited has a whole Japanese explanation and only the title is translated into English, making for a confusing museum experience, it's a shame...
