★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (白山の化身がもたらした地蔵尊)下余田白山権現社は、白山姫神社として管理されてきました。昔、京都の法師が経巻を松島瑞厳寺に運ぶ途中、婦人に3つの箱を頼まれました。やがて、下余田界隈で婦人が現れ、「我は白山の化身」と3つのうちの真ん中の箱だけ持って立ち去ったのでした。これにちなみ中荷屋敷という地名が生まれました。その箱の中には地蔵尊像があり、これを祀る祠が建てられ白山姫神社と呼ばれました。
 Shijiyoda Hakusan Gongensha has been managed as Hakusan Hime Shrine. A long time ago, a lawyer in Kyoto was asked by a woman to have three boxes on the way to the Matsushima Zuigenji Temple. Eventually, a woman appeared in the Shimoyoda neighborhood and left with "I am Hakusan's incarnation" and only the middle box of the three. This is the name of the place called Nakagoyashiki. There is a statue of Jizo in that box, and a casket was built to call it and was called Hakusan Hime Shrine.
