★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「大自然に囲まれ、仲間との練習に励む。あぁここはなんて素晴らしいところなのだろうか。」当時高校1年生だった私はその迫力に圧巻され、立ち尽くしていた。コンパクトをポリシーにしているのか、7レーンまでしかないタータン。競技者に新たなる試練を与えているのだろうか、少々短いスタブロ。その全てが今の私を形作っていると言っても過言ではないだろう。
時は真夏に遡る。外の気温とともに灼熱と化したそのタータンは時に自分という存在の儚さを語りかけてくれた。そんな、人生において大切なきっかけを与えてくれたその場所と仲間と切磋琢磨した日々はきっと忘れない。
近頃では西川田の復活により河内の来訪者が少なくなると囁かれている。そんなことはきっとない。私はそう思う。また、2022年の国体に向けまた新たな競技場が建設されている。なにをしているのか甚だ疑問だった。
僕たちには河内があるじゃないか。もっと河内を信じようではないか。そう願って止まない。
"I am surrounded by nature and work hard to practice with my friends. What a wonderful place this place is." I was a freshman in high school at the time, and I was overwhelmed by the power and stood up. Perhaps the policy is compact, tartan with only 7 lanes. I wonder if it is giving the athlete a new test, a little short stablo. It is no exaggeration to say that all of them shape me now.
Time goes back to midsummer. The tartan, which became scorching with the outside temperature, sometimes spoke to me about the ephemeral nature of myself. I will never forget the place and the days when I worked hard with my friends who gave me such an important opportunity in my life.
Recently, it has been whispered that the number of visitors to Kawachi will decrease due to the revival of Nishikawata. I'm sure there is no such thing. I think so. In addition, a new stadium is being constructed for the 2022 National Athletic Meet. I was really wondering what I was doing.
We have Kawachi, don't we? Let's believe in Kawachi more. I hope so and I can't stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 個人利用 2時間200円で利用しました。受付が競技場ではなく隣のプールで受付になりますので、お気をつけて下さい。設備も追加料金なしで使用できたのでありがたいです。
I used it for 200 yen for 2 hours for personal use. Please note that the reception will be at the pool next door, not at the stadium. I am grateful that the equipment could be used at no additional charge.
