その昔は大型トラックも通行できた程丈夫だったが老朽化で掛け替えが決まり今は通行禁止に、珍しい木造橋が見られるのもあと僅か。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟市西区と南区を繋ぐ貴重な木橋(骨組みは鉄骨)。以前は、黒埼町と白根市を繋いでいた。重量制限があり、鉄製の枠で幅員を狭めていた。現在は通行止め。
A precious wooden bridge (steel frame) that connects Nishi-ku and Minami-ku, Niigata City. I used to connect Kurosaki Town and Shirane City. There was a weight limit, and the width was narrowed by the iron frame. Currently closed.
