★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 真言宗豊山派の寺院です。すぐ脇が車の交通量の大変多い睦橋通りですので山門が固く閉ざされています。(境内参拝時は自分で鉄扉を開けて境内に入ります)
そんな環境ですので、車の音はしますが、境内はシーンとしています。本堂はリニューアルされていて鉄筋造りになっています。また石塔や弘法大師像も現代風な造りなので静かな境内と併せて無機質な印象を受けます。
本堂内には市の文化財に指定されている如意観音も有るようですが、本堂は扉が閉ざされており、中を伺い知る事が出来ませんでした。
 It is a temple of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school. Immediately beside is Mutsuhashi-dori, where the traffic of cars is very high, so the mountain gate is tightly closed. (When visiting the precincts, open the iron door yourself and enter the precincts.)
In such an environment, the sound of the car sounds, but the precincts are scenes. The main hall has been renewed and is reinforced. The stone pagoda and the Kobo Daishi statue are also modern in style, so you can get an inorganic impression along with the quiet grounds.
It seems that there is also a ruin in the main hall, which is designated as a cultural property of the city, but the main hall was closed and the door was not accessible.
