★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平治２年（１１６０）正月３日、義朝公謀殺の大事を聞いた家臣渋谷金王丸や鷲栖玄光らが湯殿にかけつけるとき、この地にあった橋のあたりで長田の家臣と乱戦となり、後にこの橋が乱橋と言われるようになったとのことです。
On November 3rd, 1160, when the vassals Shibuya Kinnomaru and Rin Genmitsu, who heard about the importance of the conspiracy to kill Yi Dynasty, hang on the hot springs, they battled against the vassals of Nagata around the bridge in the area. It is said that this bridge has come to be called Rankyo.
