★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 源義朝が平治の乱に敗れ、臣下の長田忠致に謀殺された所が野間の地。 建久元年（１１９０年）に、上洛途中で野間の大御堂寺を訪れた源頼朝が、 父義朝の法要の際、境内の様々な伽藍と共に寄進建立した門とのことです。
The place where Minamoto no Yoshitomo was defeated by the Heiji rebellion and was murdered by his vassal, Tadashi Nagata, is the land of Noma. It is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo, who visited Nomadaibo-ji Temple on the way to Noma in the first year of Kenkyu (1190), donated and built it along with various cathedrals in the precincts during the memorial service of his father Yoshitomo.
