★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 気持ちの良い神社です。片倉家家臣の子孫の方々が灯籠などたくさん寄進されています。武士の描かれたお守りを買って帰りました。

出店でも有れば楽しいんだろうけど、そういうのはもうだいぶ昔に無くなってしまったなぁ。
今年は珍しく元旦から雪が少し積もってて、参拝客に踏み固まれて滑る危険地帯に。
ちゃんと雪かきすべきだよなぁ。
高齢者も多くなってきてる町なんだから、危ないでしょ。
こう言うところが白石らしさを感じるが。
お隣の白石城は少し雪かきしてあって道が造られていたよ。

南接する白石城を築いた蒲生氏郷、会津加増時に当地を治めた上杉景勝に庇護された。1600年、白石城の戦いによって伊達政宗が城を奪取。1602年、その先鋒として活躍した片倉景綱が城主となり片倉家の崇敬社、同城の鎮守社となった。wikiより

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 片倉小十郎景綱公を御祭神として白石城二の丸にありますが、歴史は古く平安時代に坂上田村麻呂が創祀と伝えられています。
片倉氏の前は、奥州藤原氏や蒲生氏郷などにも崇教厚かったそうです。
御祭神は天照皇大神です。
御朱印や、お守りは拝殿の左側にあるインターホンを押すと頂けます。
おみくじはお金を入れて引くセルフ方式です。
頂いた御朱印は書いたものを渡していただくかたちになります。
一般的な御朱印帳より少し大きめのサイズのものとなります。
It is located in Ninomaru, Shiroishi Castle, with Katakura Kagetsuna as the deity, but it has a long history and is said to have been created by Sakanoue Tamura Maro during the Heian period.
Before Mr. Katakura, he was also revered by Mr. Fujiwara Oshu and Mr. Gamo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白石城の脇にあります。片倉家の守護神ですが、戊辰戦争後には、日露戦争で亡くなられた英霊もおまつりしているそうです。あと、白石市内には、心なしか神社仏閣にお墓まで少ない気がします。なんでも、戊辰戦争後の北海道への移住により、まるごとあちらに持っていったせいかも知れないとのことでした。神社は大変立派です。狛犬も二対、赤ちゃん狛犬も可愛かったです。
