★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 武家屋敷の反対側にある駐車場に停めてすぐ受け邸に行けるのでとても良かったです。JR東日本のＣＭで吉永小百合さんが渡っていた橋が片倉小十郎の受け屋敷のとこの橋です。冬の時期の撮影のようですが、暖かい時もよろしいかと思いますお城から少し離れていますので歩きよりは車をオススメします
 It was great because I could park at the parking lot on the other side of the samurai residence and go to the residence immediately. The bridge that Sayuri Yoshinaga crossed in the CM of JR East is the bridge of Kojuro Katakura's receiving house. It seems to be taken in winter, but I think it's okay even when it's warm. It's a little far from the castle, so I recommend a car rather than walking.

高くない料金設定ですが、あまり見ごたえもないかと。
すぐ向かい側に無料駐車場があります。
It is a designated cultural property of Miyagi prefecture, about a 10-minute walk from Shiroishi Castle.
An admission fee of 200 yen per adult will be charged.
The price is not high, but it doesn't look very good.
Free parking is just across the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were undergoing maintenance/building work whilst I was there, which kind of spoilt the effect. It is a small place, easily covered in about 5-10 minutes. The best pictures are actually taken from the entrance, so you may not necessarily need to go in. If you wish to enter, I would recommend tacking this on as part of a trip to Shiroishi Castle- the ticket vending machine there offers a discounted ticket for the castle donjon, a 3D screening in the castle museum, and this residence (600 yen). Otherwise, this place costs 200 yen.
