T	TAKASHI HANAMAZ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本能寺の変で織田信長が倒れた後、明智光秀討伐に向かうため上州撤退をしようとした織田家家臣　滝川一益と後北条家の古戦場の碑。ここを中心とした半径5km弱の範囲には、この合戦にまつわる史跡が点在する。 A monument to the old battlefield of the Kazumasa Takigawa and the Gojojo family who tried to withdraw from Joshu in order to head for the subjugation of Akechi Mitsuhide after Oda Nobunaga collapsed due to the transformation of Honnoji. Historical sites related to this battle are dotted with a radius of less than 5km.
鍋	鍋割山のギン太 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 織田信長旗下の勇将である滝川一益は、武田勝頼を天目山に討ち、上州を押さえるため、厩橋城に入ります。ところが、その僅か三ヶ月後、主君の信長は明智光秀に急襲され、あっけなく此の世を去ってしまいました。信長の死を知るや、北条勢は鉢形城から出撃。前橋城を落とそうとし、迎え討つ滝川一益は神流川原に進出。両者は文字通り死闘を演じましたが、すでに主君無き滝川勢は押しまくられ、二千余の戦死者を出したといいます。首塚八幡や胴塚稲荷は、その戦死者達を葬ったものだと言われています(;_;)/~~~ その後、敗兵をまとめた一益は厩橋城に帰り、上州の諸将を集めて宣言します。「自分はいまから、主君の仇を討つために進発する。自分の首を獲って、北条への土産にしたい者があれば遠慮はいらない」これを聞いた上州の武将達は、別れを惜しめこそすれ、後を追わなかったそうです。義理人情を重んじる上州人気質もあったでしょう。また勇将であった一益の潔さに打たれたのかも知れません。父の墓がある前橋市の長昌寺で能を催したと伝えられる一益には、とても親しみを感じて、ついつい贔屓目になってしまいます(^^) Kazumasu Takigawa, a brave general under the banner of Nobunaga Oda, defeats Katsuyori Takeda on Mt. Tenmoku and enters Maebashi Castle to control Joshu. However, only three months later, Nobunaga, the lord, was attacked by Akechi Mitsuhide and died without a hitch. Upon learning of Nobunaga's death, Hojo Sei set out from Hachigata Castle. Kazumasu Takigawa, who tries to drop Maebashi Castle and greets him, advances to Kamiryugawara. Both of them literally played a deadly battle, but it is said that the Takikawa group without a lord was already pushed and killed more than 2,000. It is said that Kubizuka Hachiman and Masakado Inari buried the war dead (; _;) / ~~~ After that, Kazumasu, who summarized the defeated soldiers, returns to Maebashi Castle and gathers and declares the generals of Joshu. "From now on, I will move forward to avenge my lord's death. If anyone wants to catch his neck and make it a souvenir for Hojo, don't hesitate." The warlords of Joshu who heard this said that they regretted farewell and did not follow. There must have been Joshu's popularity, which values humanity in law. It may also have been struck by the purity of Kazumasu, who was a brave general. Kazumasu, who is said to have held Noh at Chosho-ji Temple in Maebashi City, where his father's grave is located, feels very familiar with him, and he just becomes a favor (* ^^ *).

Due to the construction of the Shinryugawa new bridge, this place is under construction on a new road at the bridge.
