★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西高野街道沿いにある、ため池。平成１０年（１９９８年）に竣功したため池改修事業の記念碑。
桜が散りゆく季節に行ったところ、規模は小さいですが、降り注ぐ花吹雪を経験出来ました。
堺市の散策マップを見ると、別名「ほうしゃ池」。絶滅危惧種のオニバスが自生している珍しいスポット、ただし、夏場にヒシが大発生するので、ボランティアを募って大清掃を行っているらしいです。
写真で判るとおり、枯れた植物が池の面を埋めていますが、これがヒシでしょう。

When I went to the season when the cherry blossoms were falling, I was able to experience the snowstorm, although the scale was small.
Looking at the walking map of Sakai City, it is also known as "Hosha Pond". It is a rare spot where endangered water lilies grow naturally, but it seems that volunteers are recruited for major cleaning because of the outbreak of Hishi in the summer.
As you can see in the photo, dead plants fill the surface of the pond, which is probably Hishi.
