J	Junk TK_ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 堺市の市立公園。奈良時代に建立された、国指定史跡の「土塔」が園内にあります。今見ることが出来る土塔は、２０１０年に復元されたもののようですが、瓦を鎧のように纏ったその姿は、かなり見ごたえがあります。また、さらに時代を遡った古墳時代後期（６世紀後半）に、須恵器を生産していた窯跡も保存されています。ただ、残念ながら、保存のために土中に埋め戻されたのか、窯跡の姿そのものを現地で見ることはできませんでした。堺市の中部から南部にかけては、須恵器の生産にマッチした土が豊富に分布していたようで、そのものずばりの「陶器町」という地名も残っており、陶荒田（すえあらた）神社というお社もあります。公園内には水洗トイレが設置されており、また、遊具スペースも設けられていて、子供連れの方にも楽しめるところだと思いました。園内で、これまでお目にかかることが出来なかったモズと、近づくとすぐに逃げてしまうヒヨドリも、じっくりと見ることが出来ました。園内に、大門池と呼ばれる水深の浅い池があるので、とくにカエルの好きなモズくんには餌場としてうってつけなのかもしれません。 Sakai City Park. There is also a company. There is a flush toilet in the park, and there is also a playset space, so I thought it would be a fun place for people with children. In the park, I was able to take a closer look at the shrike that I had never seen before and the bulbul that escaped as soon as I approached it. There is a shallow pond called Daimon Pond in the park, so it may be a perfect feeding ground for the frog-loving shrike.
