★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新宿駅は、降りてどこに行く、ということはあまりなく、専ら乗換駅でした。強いて言えば、東京医大病院に通院、新宿郵便局に職域接種に行った位です。
サラリーマン時代は、小田急線で新宿まで来て、埼京線で板橋・赤羽・川口方面に通勤をしました。
プライベートでは、家族旅行で新宿まで来て、ロマンスカーで箱根湯本に、行くこともありました。
最近では、相鉄線が新宿駅まで乗り入れになったので、新宿から大和まで乗ってみました。
あと、大学生の頃、登山に参加するために｢アルプス広場｣に集合しました。とても懐かしい話です。もう、アルプス広場は復活しないのでしょうか。
便利、近代的等々すばらしいですが、古き良き物も残して欲しいものです。

Same as most of the big train station in Japan, Shinjuku station also has a lot of exit. Easy station to change trains as all the platforms are nearby. Many shops and restaurant around this station.
